We Handle Every Specialty
One platform, one patient record, one billing pipeline - whatever you practice. Below is every specialty and subspecialty XEHR supports.
How one platform serves all of them
Many systems sell a separate product for each specialty. In XEHR each practice is set up for its own specialty, so a cardiology group, a plastic surgery practice and a pathology lab work in the same system, each with its own templates, codes and billing.
Your own note templates
Templates are built per specialty, per visit type and per facility in Admin. A vascular consult, a Mohs procedure note and a well-child visit are different documents, not the same SOAP form with a different heading.
Your own code library
Each practice keeps its own ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT lists and its own fee schedule. You are never picking from another specialty's codes, and the diagnosis and procedure codes flow from the signed note onto the claim.
Billing that follows the work
Professional claims on CMS-1500 and institutional on UB-04, with the place of service taken from where care actually happened - office, hospital inpatient, outpatient or ambulatory surgery center - not assumed.
One record across settings
A surgeon who operates at a hospital and follows up in clinic, or a hospitalist moving between units, works in one chart, and the record moves with the patient because it is kept in healthcare's open standards.
Internal Medicine & Subspecialties
Longitudinal problem lists, chronic-care templates and E/M level support, billed professional on CMS-1500.
Surgical Specialties & Subspecialties
Operative notes, global-period tracking, assistant-surgeon and bilateral modifiers, and place-of-service 21 / 22 / 24 when the case is done at a hospital or surgery center.
Pediatric Specialties & Subspecialties
Growth charts, weight-based dosing, immunization schedules and registry reporting, guarantor billing and school/sports forms.

Diagnostic, Laboratory & Imaging
Orders, results and reports in one place, with technical and professional billing handled separately.
Patient & System-Wide Care
Time-based and procedure-based billing, facility vs professional claims, and the documentation each of these disciplines is audited on.
Neurology & Psychiatry
Structured neuro and mental-status exams, controlled-substance prescribing with PDMP, and the stricter consent and disclosure rules behavioral health carries.
Cross-Disciplinary
Practised across settings rather than in one clinic type, so the record has to follow the patient between them.
