About AI in XEHR

What does the XEHR AI Assistant do?

It does tasks inside XEHR from a plain-English request: drafting notes, checking coverage, preparing prior authorizations, finding claims that need attention and answering how-to questions about your own setup. It prepares the work; a person approves it.

Is the AI Assistant built for HIPAA?

Yes. It runs under our Business Associate Agreement, patient identifiers are protected before AI processing, every action is recorded in your audit trail, and your data is never used to train models.

Can the AI submit claims or change records on its own?

No. The assistant proposes; a person approves. Providers sign notes and billers approve claims, exactly as they do without AI.

How is the AI priced?

Pay as you go, by usage, with no base fee and discounted bundles. The current rate is on the pricing page.

What is the difference between the AI Assistant and AI Employees?

The AI Assistant works inside XEHR, on request, with your approval. AI Employees are a separate XEHR LLC service that works billing queues on a schedule, with any EHR. See rcmemployee.com.
